This is a point that I think is lost on the far greater majority of people when it comes to "who is the better MC/Rapper/Lyricist/whatever" discussions and arguments.

They'll dismiss Rapper A because they like Rapper B's music more. The two aren't the same thing.

It's not that it's bad. It's pretentious dog shyt. Lupe is nowhere near the writer that Kendrick is. He's extremely one dimensional. Which is why he makes his lyrics as confusing as possible so he doesn't have to connect the dots on anything he writes. Ambiguous writing like that has never been praised in any writing field and it shouldn't be praised in rap. I highly doubt Lupe could even explain what that verse means. Cause like I said. It's pretentious dog shyt with zero substance behind it.

And why is Lupe so fascinated with Oprah's sofa. He's used that phrase in like 17 tracks

Lupe's diss was garbage/because he got all in his feelings, that’s his Achilles heel as far as weakness. Factz diss/portion towards Royce was alight at best, Payne and Ransom took more damage on the same track. At the end of the day both of those dudes did what Royce asked/made them do which was rap (the whole point of it all)

We'll have to agree to disagree lol. Lu is a monster granted, but destroying someone with multiple different styles while not skipping a beat lyrically was no easy feat.
