Yankees fans and media are going to do everything possible to make Volpe into the next Derek Jeter.

And the kid is talented. I don’t think he will be good in 2023. But he could be an all star player in a few years.

I just hate it when the media latches onto a kid and creates this hype machine and tries to formulate an image that isn’t organic.
