No one is saying height makes you a good QB, only that it ties into your ability to play QB.

Yes IF you can still do everything despite being shorter it's not a barrier, but you still have to overcome it. Which puts you behind taller QBs.

Bryce I believe is either the shortest or second shortest QB going into this year. Shorter than Brees. Not irrelevant, it is a legitimate strike against him.
It really doesn't tie into your ability to play QB, the ability to play QB is largely mental and the main physical issue is arm strength not height.

You have to overcome all physical deficiencies to play anything high level, slow feet, weak arms, limited vision, etc.

Him being shorter than Brees doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is his effectiveness on field and he can see the field make every pro throw necessary. So the only question will be his ability to grow and learn, stop with all the other superficial stuff.

You hit the nail on the head. You can have all the physical attributes in the world, have been a beast in college and still be ass as an NFL qb.

Lol, did you see Peyton his first year?

Yea, not saying buddy gonna be a hall of FAMER. But the league and coli be giving up on players too quickly.

It’s like no one gives anyone grace to grow and develop. Everyone wants instant oatmeal like production from players

He def needs some more time to cook and more competent people around him, but niccas can't ignore that his size is questionable and plays a big factor. Not everyone is going to be a Drew Brees or have a Sean Payton to help hone a Drew Brees.

And niccas gotta stop shytting on "old Adam Thielen". He has looked better than a lot of mfs so called #1 WRs and partially one of the few reasons why Bryce hasn't looked COMPLETELY lost.

Saw a stat that CJ has more TD"s this year than Pickett has for his entire career.... WITH THAT SAID

I'd like to see what Pickett looks like with a real OC. FO needs to put serious pressure on Tomlin this offseason to make a change. It was absurd he didn't make one last year when it was obvious Canada aint shyt as a playcaller.
matt canada is so trash I feel like he’s is sabotaging Tomlin.

I didn't say height was "the main physical issue" I said it is a physical issue. He doesn't have great arm strength either.

Yes exactly, and my concern about Bryce is that he is a QB who has to overcome multiple physical deficiencies. Not ideal for a #1 you traded up for and has not panned out so far.

His ability to see the field and make throws is impacted by his size.

He was #1 pick because he showed his physical dimensions weren't detrimental to being a QB against similar physical opponents in the SEC.

I don't see any truth to your claim that he is limited in seeing the field or being physically unable to make throws in his playing in the NFL or college

In college he was on a stacked team. Which is why I said he may be able to succeed in a similar situation in the NFL.

#1 picks fail all of the time as do 1st round QBs.

He is the #1 pick because the Panthers valued him that way, it doesn't mean he was the unanimous top prospect. That doesn't mean his physical dimensions won't be an issue.

Ignore wins, in college, look at his mechanics and thows, there is not a throw he couldn't make physically on the field. He made intermediate, short, and long throws precisely. He did that with olinemen and dlinemen at nfl height and a few with NFL speed/reflexes.

He has no physical impediment to playing football in the NFL, period.

Again the only issue will be mental and his ability to learn and adapt.

Why the hell did the Panthers include DJ Moore in the trade, the haul by itself with the picks was still good for the Bears. A young QB needs a good #1 reliable receiver, he would’ve helped Bryce this year
The Titans were rumored to have offered a handsome package of picks and players as well
