This might be the dumbest post I have ever read on this website

Black people dont just exist in the hood. BLack people aren’t a monolithic. Both suburban and hood chicks fukk with SZA for example

Matter of fact it’s not possible for a Black female star to be popular without some form of urban support. That goes for black male artists, but it’s especially true for the women

Beyoncé and Rihanna have had pop eras but you can’t name me any black female singers who came out the gate with complete pop and white people liking them. Nicki had the white pop support in 2010 to 2012 but she still had a big black fan base from the mixtape beam me up Scottie days

A black female artist cannot be big without black support.

Bottom line. Nothing to do with pop.

This is why Tinashe isn’t popping... because black women don’t like her. Nothing to do with white people not liking an artist. Nicki losing support from Black women to Cardi B has done more damage to her than losing white people.

@dora_tha_destroyer i don't know how your head doesn't explode talking to these fools :snoop:

Take away sza hood chick audience and she would be another tinashe or syven.

i don't think you realize you made my point valid breh :snoop:

that statement agrees with what i just said

even with someone like eminem, we talk about his white fans but in his absolute peak and fame it was alot of black folks rocking with him from day 1. even now look at the youtube reaction videos to his recent albums or disses and on the first page its mainly black people reacting

even outside of the women, every major artist in rap or r and b has a big fanbase of black people...whether its women or men
