I respect Nivea. She's right in the 2000's on out labels have to market the whole package especially if you're not an otherworldly talent.
How does that explain the mediocre mixed/white talent pop musicians that has taken over the airwaves lately.
I don’t think that is her problem, the execs were moving towards the white/mestizo Latina Hispanic look for female pop/rnb stars during Nivea’s period.
The early 2000 you were seeing less black female acts and white hispanic video vixens as well. The industry just changed and it reflected on who they are pushing forward.
Even the super talent/vocalist black female singers are struggling to keep a roof over their hair. It has nothing to do with sexual appeal.
And she’s cute not every artist has heavy sexual appeal.
White female teenagers have more say in the black genres than they did in the past. Before pop was for white gurls and rnb/hip hop was for black girls. Everything has converged. Execs cater to white or white adjacent teens only.
