For other Black people? He is Black American -- speaking out for Black Americans (ethnic group). About something that has and IS specifically affecting Black Americans (ethnic group). I don't see the issue. That's called advocacy. No one really wants Cube's plan -- but him speaking out can lead to one being created that we will.

The timing is great.

Cause, while we all need to be reaching out to our reps and writing and meeting them. For the Presidential stage -- this is the time! It's called campaign season. It's called earning votes and listening to concerns -- then making promises/agendas to help address them.

And please remember, Cube is late to the table -- but he has joined in on helping those who have been speaking on this for over 2-3 years now. He is amplifying a concern/issue.

Here's the truth. We can't wait -- we have waited enough.

So, because he hasn't spoken out when he was younger, rapping and acting a fool. He can't AS A GROWN ass man with grown ass kids -- can't mature and want to participate positively to his people?

So, because I was thotting in Undergrad, I can't be in a real, committed relationship now?

I think our biggest challenge is the fact that Black folks geographically are only represented in bigger cities, outside of those cities most of your us representatives could give two fukks about "a contract with black America." If we're hypothetically excluding non-ados members as many on here want...that realistically shortens our geographic footprint and voting block by a bit. What I'm trying to say is its going to be EXTREMELY difficult to get anywhere near 100 representatives in congress who will agree with a bill like hr40

I agree -- on location. But, this is not exclusion based on dislike. This is exclusion based on specific debt, ills, policies that specifically affected ADOS.

They have "Pacs" SuperPacs -- and specific advocacy groups -- they can advocate for a specific plan for them as well. I'm sure they are.

But, ADOS represent the majority of Black people in the U.S. We can not have reps in the CBC who do NOT put the majority and those who are historically indebted too and targeted --- first. If they can't put us first -- they are not representing nor helping like that.

On HR 40: I personally think it will pass one day -- hopefully soon. But, with edits.

The reality is that passing a reparations bill of any kind will require a senate majority in a country where the current senate majority are a party of open racists.

If you read between the lines all the "cut the check this, tangibles that" is just people trying to get off maximum grift/trolling while trying to avoid the stark reality of how much ground work goes into passing a bill like that. Ground work they not doing at all.

You gotta be gullible af to believe the same people juelzing night and day to justify not voting against an open white supremacist are working diligently to get the representatives needed to pass the bill

Well, honey -- we have to give him time. And we honestly, don't know what he has done -- or "cap" for. This is just his first time being vocal about it. I applaud him for at-least trying -- and using his platform to try to help.

I don't think Mr. Floyd brought him out. I think the environment of ANOTHER death, the riots, the state of Black ADOS communities, Black business closing due to Covid --- in the election season did.

He probably felt -- as many of us do -- this is the time.

He didn't get played, IMO. Whites on BOTH sides are showing their racist hands.

Trump could do all that NOW if he wanted too -- but won't. And neither will Biden -- his team did the same as Trumps.

In addition, neither plan is specific for Black America -- and he called both of them out on that. Showing both parties plans are not "Black Agendas."
