Obama was a once in a lifetime candidate that people were actually excited to vote for and support. That likely won’t happen again. People have to get comfortable with the idea that in a binary system you will be voting against someone far more than you will be voting for someone. I.e. voting for Biden as a way to vote against Trump and get him out of there. Voting for Biden again as a way to prevent Trump or Deaantis from winning. That’s how it will be for, likely, the rest of our lives. We had our moment with Obama.

I advocate for Black people to refuse to vote larger offices en masse until candidates respect our vote and give us policies reflecting our people's situations, like every other minority group does.
