I never found Mike Epps funny.
I don’t believe for a second he offered Chris Tucker 12 million for next Friday. Friday had a budget of 3.5 million and made 27 million at the box office. Next Friday only had a buffet of 11 million and Friday after next had a budget of 10 million.
Next Friday would have filmed after Rush Hour broke out. So I think Chris could have demanded 12. But ain’t no way in hell Cube offered him 12.
big worm on vladtv said tucker was worried sick about friday, that the low budget movie might ruin his reputation as an inspiring actor
it wasn't about religion, it was about business.
his next big movie was my fav of all time 'Money Talks' then the rush hour trilogy.
there was no way he was going back to cube and them
remember he only earned $5K for his role as smokey
He portrayed a similar character in Jackie Brown.Hope it wasn’t anything malicious behind it
Sounds like Chris just said he didn’t want to portray that image anymore. I think it worked out for both of them.
Idk if I would say Mike is funnier though, Chris pretty much carried all the comedy in the first one and went off to carry other movies on his own
Y’all be saying anything on hereMike is funnier and it’s not even close. Cacs and Asians love Chris Tucker for a reason.
Cube always had shady business dealings and its funny he went at eazy for that. Tbh I can see cube offering the 12 mil before the studio found out chris wasn't in it the budget went downI don’t believe for a second he offered Chris Tucker 12 million for next Friday.
