If they brought back Nia Long and Regina King and created a story that had them playing bigger roles in the plot. I think that would give the sequel a shot in the arm interest wise.

Maybe even have The Lady of Rage come back and reek a little havoc lol. There’s a way to do it, just gotta be done creatively and Cube is a talented dude, I’d welcome a sequel if done right.

Kevin Smith is still making Jay & Silent Bob movies. Clerks 3 is coming out this year and Mallrats 2 is coming out after.

Bill and Ted started in 1989. They came out with a third movie two years ago.

Creech and Chong started in the 70s and were still cameoing as their movie characters until the 2000s and came out with an animated movie in 2013.

Why should Cube be told that him and the other actors are too old when black doesn't crack and the white stoner movies continue their legacy with no push back. I understand moving on from where you started but two of the biggest actors, Ben Affleck and Keanu Reeves, got no flack for doing the same thing.

Ben Affleck got oscars and still playing Batman for Christmas sakes. He was in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot in 2019 and is signed on to return for Mall Rats 3. Keanu Reeves is arguably one of the biggest action stars ever after being Neo in the Matrix and John Wick. He still went back and did a sequel for a silly movie he did when he was a kid with a costar that people have forgotten about.

I'm saying all this to say that we shouldn't be telling ourselves we're too old or came too far to go back to what people got to know us from. If those guys can continue, why shouldn't we?

I'm cool with Friday After Next being the final Friday movie we ever gotten, I just wished that the fourth Friday came out shortly after the Christmas Friday while Cube and Mike Epps were still young and in their acting primes.

I actually prefer rewatching the Fridays sequels more than the OG.

It can with Cube passing it to his son Shea and DC Young Fly being Tuckers kid as well as new up and coming comedians like Mark Phillips also paying homage to Witherspoon and Tiny Lester.
