Maybe he's getting the ball rolling. At least Cube got them to present a plan that could face scrutiny in the first place. Of course the Trump campaign used him as a pawn but so does the Democratic Party if we are being real. Neither side wants to address the wealth gap in any substantive way. Having said that Trump is marginally worse so he must go.

Cube didnt get the ball rolling on nothing :mjlol:

All he did was make himself look like a dumbass while Trump and co are using him as a literal photo prop to say "see we aint racist"

He was used and then to add insult to injury, Roland completely exposed him and showed the world that this fool has no idea what he's doing

And Biden addressed the wealth gap during his town hall tonight. What do you think about what he said?

Bruh... look at that vid

Even if I agreed with you that someone should meet with Trump on our behalf...

That person obviously should NOT be Cube as he is ignorant as hell on politics. This interview with Roland proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

He is a talented rapper, producer and actor.

That does NOT translate into being talented in politics.

If democrats actually did their job for the people who vote 90% for them and did something tangible for black folks over the past 50 years then Ice cube wouldn't have to be out here in 2020. black folks are in virtually the same position they were in since the 60's. No progress on black wealth.

Above the fray.

I've seen people repeat this, but how can you say virtually the same position?

Black middle class has expanded since the 1960s.

It's a decent start but will not address the disparity for the majority of working class and poor black people. If you are a black person seeking to start a business or buy a house what he said sounds pretty good but otherwise I don't see it really having an impact. The best thing he could do to help black folks immediately outside of reparations is to raise the minimum wage to at least 12 dollars an hour. That would immediately impact a large swath of black peoples lives.

  • Joe Biden reaffirmed his plan to back a $15 federal minimum wage and end the tipped minimum wage in a Sept. 7 tweet.
  • The Democratic Party nominee for president in the 2020 election also said he supports an end to the subminimum wage for workers with disabilities and aims to “ensure everyone has strong benefits.”
  • Biden’s labor policy platform also said he plans to hold employers accountable for wage theft, union busting and worker classification. The Biden campaign did not respond to a request for comment.

This something I can get behind hopefully he follows through. I still don't blame Cube for doing what he did.

Black middle class has expanded since the 1960s.

Cause its true. Blacks made 60% of what whites made in the 60's and we still make 60% of what whites make now. Black unemployment was double whites back then and still is now. More black folks are actually locked up now than in the 60s. So what world are you living in? The status quo for America has always been black folks at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Today's racial wealth gap is wider than in the 1960s
