im starting to think that despite the collective wet dream happening in the napoleon thread, mueller is not going to put trump in cuffs. and that being the case, i dont see the dems taking 2020. and if that was the case, id probably bet my life savings on the dems winning in 2024

That's been the trend for the last few decades. Republicans preach tax cuts and trickle down economics. Never works. Companies pocket the cash, buy back shares, don't increase wages and continue to push for more deregulation. The economy goes to shyt. Deregulated markets turn to speculative bubbles. Then Democrats come in and clean up the mess.
Why is Trump getting credit for this economy????
This is the Obama economy. fukking revisionists blame Obama for Bush's recession and now wwant to give credit for his turnaround to a moron President who's only real economic policy was a tax cut for the rich.
EDIT: and just like under Bush when states start suffering from the lost revenue, a Dem President will have to come in and take the heat for the tough choices to prop up the economy again.
