The original World Trade Center would still be around and airport security would be somewhat lax compared to now (tho prolly not as lax as the 90’s) but there would still be a war in the Middle East and West Asia. There wouldn’t be a Pentagon Memorial and nobody would’ve ever heard of a Shanksville, PA. And there would prolly still be a Dept. of Homeland Security and NSA. Dubya most likely wouldn’t have seen that immediate post-9/11 approval rating boost either. Also, I feel that NYC (most especially Manhattan) would still creep towards a police state.
