It's amazing how not playing can actually boost your status. All of a sudden Romo has gone from being the whipping boy to the conquering hero while doing absolutely nothing :mjlol:. We really gonna act like Romo is above having a poor performance and throwing some costly picks? :usure: Drew Bledsoe was more accomplished than him when he lost his job to Brady and Romo. Neither of those guys were perfect in their first 13 starts either. shyt you never know, we may not even be having this discussion if Dez holds on to the ball. Speaking of which, this receiving corps aint' exactly the greatest show on turf. Romo did his damage with healthy, dominant Dez or TO and a pre-:flabbynsick: Witten.
reasonable fans never really shyt on romo like that. every QB gonna throw picks. its part of the game, but being able to read the field comes with experience and puts the offense in the best position to win. as for bledsoe, he was playing average at best before being benched. as for weapons, theyve had equally good weapons.

So it's reasonable to be considering pulling a QB that the team is 11-2 with? Most sports talk is unreasonable. We can't just ignore that majority and focus on the minority of reasoned thought when it's convenient. He has done nothing the last couple seasons, due to injury of course, and his team is having one of it's best seasons in the last 20 years with him on the sidelines and some how his stock has risen? There is no way to rationalize that. Even with experience Romo has thrown his fair share of :mindblown: picks. :cliche alert: The best ability is availability and Romo hasn't displayed that otherwise Dak wouldn't even be playing now. So Dez and Witten have been as good this year, when they both played that is, as they were a few years ago? :comeon:

Still wasn't a rookie putting up numbers like Dak...try again....
Yeah he was a second year backup putting up waaay better numbers.

If you don't see the comparison of two young suspect arm QBs putting up unsustainable numbers in amazing situations then I don't know what to tell ya.

This is just like ther Super Bowl where the 9ers tywere down and they were talking about yanking kaep. It is alrways at play and I say this as a big romo fan. If Dak is costing them games then play room but dak is your future, you don't want to full with his confidence.

its hard to judge a WR play without judging every down, but from the looks of it. dude has made some explosve plays this year and has big games despite injury an ddespite a scheme that isnt really meant for big plays down the field. this is a moot point though, because Dak has consistently missed recievers down the field, an area he struggles with. as for witten, I mean he is better statistically up to this point then he was in 14 with Romo. But again, this may be a moot point because Dak often checks down to Witten instead of getting the ball down the field consistently.

And Romo's stock hasnt risen per se, its just that people are actually watching the games. It would be one thing if Dak was carving up defenses, but he's not. hes had his moments but he has his limitations in the passing game. he's left ALOT of meet on the bone despite the 11-2 record. that might haunt us come playoff time, so thats why youre hearing romo's name.

Its deeper than wins, im looking at qb play. How the qb moves in the pocket, how he breaks down read, etc. A QB can play sub par and we can still win cause our line. Wont be the case in the playoffs. You cant tell me dak has been better than romo in the past. We are 5-24 on 3rd downs in the last 2 games. We arent winning playpff games like that period

Foles #s in 10 games from that year blow Daks outta the water

Foles 8-2 record
27 TDs 2 INTs 64% 120 qb rating 2900 yards and 9.1 yards per attempt

Daks #s in 13 games

Dak 11-2 record
20 TDs 4 INTs 65 % 102 qb rating 3100 yards and 7.7 yards per attempt

It's not even close

But hey Daks #s look pretty so why bother to look up if I what I said was true when you can look dumb with an mj smiley :ehh:
They should've kept Foles and the system he was in.

supporting a player and dissecting his game arent mutually exclusive. its called being reasonable. its what mature people do, you should try it.

People who think Romo should start need to remember how injury prone he is.

Dallas has had the best offensive line the last few years, and Romo is still getting hurt.

He can't extend plays like Dak can.

Dak is getting Beasley and Williams involved to a degree that Romo never did.

Dak will only get better, while Romo is a ticking time b0mb.
