Eminem is wayyyyyy bigger than nas. Let's not even kid ourselves. Everyone knows who he is. And he is right under jay globally as the biggest artist in the game. His fan base is huge. If I'm not mistaken he is the highest selling artist in hip hop history.

This site severely underrates him. Top 5 lyricist all time. Not even sure if it's even debatable

I actually have him 2nd all time to jay as far as rappers go.

Yes it would be bigger than prince.

Eminem will be remembered more than MJs pedophile ass or Prince's drug addict ass..

Eminem will be solidified in legend and in a tier Elvis wishes he was..

People will make memes when Ye dies and laugh about it.

And people really dapped this bs. :what:

He isn't even half the artists they were neither was he admired on their level.:mjlol:

It's arguable if he even gets a spot on the top five list for greatest rappers of all time.:dame:

Maybe off topic, but I would like to know the reaction by the general public when Kanye would die within a few years. I wonder if it will be similar to MJ. Both were/are constantly shytted on by the public, but they have made a lot of hits and were influential af. When MJ died we saw how the public made a 180 degree turn. Wonder if that would happen when Ye dies, or Jay or Nas for example

:wtf::patrice::wtf:

You know something we don't?

Definitely. Even CNN would be forced to run with the 'Misunderstand genius' narrative

fukk yeah he would. Eminem has a gigantic fanbase they would gas him up maybe not as big as Prince or MJ but by a significant amount. Not a big Em fan but there's no denying how big of a name he is.

maybe for people who grew up in the 2000s and after.

prince had a far bigger fanbase in his prime alone. not to mention, he was around for generations.
both these may be true but hes not nearly the size em is today or in the world imo

Em music isnt fo brehs.. his music has a target audience and its gold for them..

Been listening to MMLP and Em Show this last week and I still like it :ehh:

Regardless of the content the man made his millions and made Dre relevant again and helped 50, Gunit, Game, D12 make it big. Mission accomplished, doubt he cares about anything else.

Would op accept him if he was fake abut his shyt like some of these other rappers :mjpls:

Besides he helped :ahh: shyt on :scusthov:

Ether :myman:

Which still makes him a household name. :what:

You don't think when he croaks, people aren't going to be playing "Lose Yourself," "Stan," "The Real Slim Shady," "Mockingbird," "Sing for the Moment," "Not Afraid," and "Rap God" everywhere you go? The dude has a lot of cache in this genre, regardless of what you guys think about the quality of his music.

It's the same thing with Lil Wayne. He is just as polarizing in hip hop as Eminem is, but when he dies, EVERYONE will pay their respects because he is a household name and has been relevant in the world of rap music for almost two decades. Look at the bigger picture, man. This isn't about how YOU feel about Eminem, this is how the WORLD feels about him.

no they wont. black people generally don't bump his chit breh.
the radio and TV will be playing him non-stop tho.

I didn't mean to quote the "household name" part. I was getting at the part where you were trying to group him with people like 2pac, jay & nas. that's what I'm arguing about. I'm not arguing about the world. im arguing about you overstating his place in hip-hop.

regardless of how high you insist on rating Eminem on your rapper list, theres NO rappers on the level of MJ & Prince in terms of notoriety, impact or popularity.

It's not really an overstatement if you think about it. He's the highest-selling rapper in history (either him or Pac), known not just in hip hop circles but in the pop community as well, worshipped by fans all over the world, is guaranteed to go multi-platinum with every album he releases. He's one of the most significant figures in hip hop, especially due to his longevity, continued success, and the admiration he has received over the years from other artists.

Let's be honest, this guy isn't Soulja Boy status and never has been. He has become one of those people synonymous with rap music because of all of his accomplishments. I don't get why people think he has 99% white fans all the time.
