North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Then he's Byron Leftwich status. The bar has been set whether he knows it or not. The both have to learn a new offense so there is no competitive edge. If he can't beat out Mark Sanchez then he will have set the black qb back 10 years. Rex Ryan is a lame duck so I doubt he will give a fukk benching Sanchez. If the Jets lose, he's more than likely out. If Smith isn't the starter by week 5 then :dead: he sucks.

The only way Geno beats out Sanchez is if the Jets decide to scheme The Read Option as its base offense.

Geno has absolutely no experience playing under center nor playing in a pro style offense. While Sanchez has been playing a pro offense since college.

and being a pro Bust (Sanchez).
Smith gives the Jets the best chance to win some games + improve with the experience he'll get. Better for now, better for the future.

Ehh 2 playoff appearances in his first 2 years. While I agree he has been bad the past 2 years, I don't put the entire blame on Sanchez since his supporting cast has been pretty non existent.

main reason for these playoff runs was the defence as u know.. Sanchez has actually regressed every year.. But yeah, the supporting cast last 2 years has been :scusthov:

Mark Sanchez at times has been a serviceable QB, as bad as he is, he's still a pro QB, Geno's still a rookie. So it ain't automatic like that.

He can practice better and play better in preseason and still not get the job. So, it really doesn't mean anything. Even if Sanchez does start game 1, he won't make it the whole season barring a remarkable turnaround

Doesn't matter who the qb is they still don't have any playmakers on the offensive side of the ball

If you honestly believe the Jets Drafting Geno is not a Reactionary Decision based on the success of Robert Griffin, I dont know what to tell you :manny:

The Read Option is whats Hot Right Now.. Until the NFL schemes a way to stop it, which they will, eventually..Probably by this year, teams will abuse it

It's not a reactionary decision based on the success of Robert Griffin.

It's a reactionary decision based on the fact that they have a bum ass QB.
