God made itself known and acted a lot thousands of years ago. Funny how that works out.

Praying to anybody but Yahweh Elohim means you're praying to evil spirits. That's dangerous because it's an abomination in God's eyes.

Elohim is plural feminine...

note the stories in the Ugarit

Even great Solomon had allowed "Asherah poles" (ancient dildos :skip:)

Anat-Yahu, Some Other Deities, and the Jews of Elephantine on JSTOR

remember...the Israelites in the old testament warred with other city states in Canaan whom had various gods as their namesakes (Jericho - Yarikh, Tyre - Malek Bel, Nineveh - Hadad), the way they speak of the outsiders is reflected in this.

the Osirian belief started by the pharaoh was that the King was god and his ancestor is the heavenly father....this is in contrast to the truth explained via Gods prophets...

the message of the Old testament is to dwell in truth rather than rely on pagan ritual. The ways of Egypt are not the same as the ways of Greece, Canaan or Assyria

be wary of context because people then were defiant in light of a problem we dont really see anymore (gruesome child sacrifice and blood/sex rituals).

Even the bible played with the minds of many by just referring to him as LORD (or Baal) which made it easier for kings to use the book to subconsciously effect peoples thought processes.

That sound petty breh. God made creations(adam & eve) and said don't eat out of this tree? Why even put the tree there in the first place? If he's omniscient that means he knew Adam would eat the fruit. So that was entrapment. God is omnipotent, so has the power to stop but doesn't?
why put the tree there in the first place?
Post like this highlight man’s ego and refusal to take responsibility, “wHy diD hE pUt tHe tReE tHeRe?” Why did you eat from it when he clearly said not to? :mjpls:
They said curiosity killed the cat, well a whole lotta cats gonna die from Eve’s curiosity :wow:

the whole OP is basically blaming God for humans being evil

if he created said human how is it not his fault if they are evil?

if God is all knowing then he knew Adam would eat from the tree when he made Adam.

That's why you identify "Yahweh"

There's all types of elohim.

Even in the bible Yahweh speaks about other "gods" , but He is the true Lord, head of all of those other supernatural beings.

How many times has he given us instructions upon instructions on how to be good instead of evil, yet yall still choose to willingly do evil on your own, i know you know at least two of the ten commandments but you still break em :mjpls:

he knew Adam was gonna eat the fruit but he never ever told him to, in fact he even told Adam before he did DONT DO IT, he is absolved of all responsibility

copping pleas like a single mother aint gonna get you nowhere, its time to look in the mirror and instead of questioning God question yourself:ufdup:, these excuss WILL NOT WORK on the day of Judgement my brother i promise you

Elijah: I am the only prophet of the lord here, meanwhile there are 450 prophets of Baal.

are you insinuating God is not all knowing?

Would he not know if a human will sin his entire life before he even creates said human?

How would he be absolved of all responsibility if he creates a human that he knew would eat it anyway even before he creates him? To say otherwise would assume God is in fact NOT all knowing.
