If Jordan had never taken those 2 years off would Bulls have 8 straight titles?

The Rockets were a veteran team, nerves? :wtf:

You think Vernon Maxwell was afraid of Jordan, dude wanted to throw hands with MJ :mjlol:

Just don't think it helps them any if they go against a seasoned Bulls teams in their first Finals appearance who also have superior coaching.

Plus as a team they played very well the first year Jordan wasn't there. Throw Jordan into that mix and I think they're too much for the Rockets that year in a 7 game series. Regular season results are can be factored in, however I think a factor just as big is the Bulls having home court advantage through the series. Prime Pippen, BJ Armstrong having his best season, Grant still there and Kukoc as a rookie with Jordan is a pretty tough team to get 4 wins against with that coaching staff. Even the years without Jordan, they were 2-2 though through the season, don't know who was injured though.

Maxwell may not have been scared of Jordan, but when Jordan starts lighting him up on the grand stage and talks that shyt, maybe he reality starts to settle in and his confidence takes a hit.

No matter what it's all theory though. No more, no less. The real correct answer is we'll never know.

I don't think about that
I do know they would've won 4 in a row from 96-99 in that shortened season. fukk the Bulls ownership

well let's look at things logically, in 1994, the bulls before jordan retired added euro star toni kukoc, luc longley, and steve kerr. 3 players who played huge roles during the 3peat. That 94 team could've won 70 games as they were deeper than the 93 team. They wouldn't of gone for 70 though.

Cartwright/ Longley/ Perdue
Grant/Blunt/ Williams
Pippen/ Kukoc
Jordan/ Myers :mjcry:
Armstrong/Kerr/Paxon

The bulls lost to the knicks in 7, but in 94 the bulls would've have the home court, and they would've beaten the knicks in 5 games.

The finals against houston, the bulls have home court and again win the series in 6 games. The knicks were a starks 3 away from closing in houston. You have michael jordan in game 6 and it's a wrap

1995, the rocket's don't even get clyde. (They got drexler because they were trying to repeat but not having won the previous year they don't even get clyde and they lose in the 1st round)

The biggest question is does horace stay in chicago? If he does, they steamroll the east because orlando didn't take that next step until grant got there, so they wouldn't be a factor. So the bulls probably face the spurs in the finals and beat them in 6.

What do you brehs think. I'll always consider MJ switching to baseball during the prime of his career the dumbest sports move ever made by anyone. Obviously he can do what he wants and baseball made him happy? I guess idk. Still very unfortunate for what could have been 2 more years of his greatness in the NBA. All those missed highlights that never were.. :mjcry:

No, I think he would have burned himself out physically, while greatly increasing the chance for injury.

Yes, they could have hit 10 or 11 straight. In this hypothetical we have to believe that shaq and kobe could bring it all together without Phil Jackson since he would still be coaching the bulls. Someone like Larry Brown could coach the Lakers to a championship level with shaq and kobe plus by then the Bulls would be old and easier to beat.

Props for the well thought out answer. I love discussing hypotheticals from history.
