If Jordan had never taken those 2 years off would Bulls have 8 straight titles?

They definitely would have won in 99
Hmm, I don't know. Rodman was on fumes and Tim Duncan had arrived. They probably make it to the finals as they would take out the knicks in the first round (not Miami) and would beat Indiana/Miami in the conference finals.

I think they could've won 4 maybe 5 during their second run had Phil remained the coach,Jordan didn't retire, and Pippen and Rodman stayed

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The years Jordan was gone it was painfully obvious that they would have gotten past the teams in front of them if he were there

Houston had zero chance of beating MJ in 94 or 95

1999 would have been the end of their run

Michael Jordan didn't share your optimism, here's what he thought of Hakeem and the Rockets -
After a loss on his home floor at Chicago Stadium in 1993, Jordan said, "We have no answer for the big guy. It's a good thing they won't ever make it to the (NBA) Finals, because I don't think we could beat them."

Hakeem had 28pts, 13rebs, 7asts, 5blks and 4 stls that game :mjpls:

The first meeting with Houston the Rockets would have to beat not just the Bulls, but their nerves also. Too much to overcome.

Hakeem may still have went off, but I think the Bulls intimidate the rest of his cast. Too much Finals experience.

The 2nd Finals meeting would be more up in the air.

The Rockets were a veteran team, nerves? :wtf:

You think Vernon Maxwell was afraid of Jordan, dude wanted to throw hands with MJ :mjlol:
The numbers do say that during Chicago's first "three-peat" from 1991-93, the Rockets were 5-1 against the Bulls. The scene on the court often showed Jordan frustrated by Maxwell's style of ruthless, fearless defense and the Bulls unable to stop center Hakeem Olajuwon from scoring in the middle.
