Post a video and pretend it doesnt say something when it says it clear as day. :dead: 2:42 "Its fun to do it, but, I put my body through a lot. But there's a price for your body, feeling this way, for winning."

Lol at Nick Wright narrative. Thats common sense. Losing in the first round means you werent even good enough to win a series. We clown guys who never made it out of the first round, clown guys who never made the finals or conference finals... yet when it comes to Bron, being worse is suddenly preferable. Would it be better to simply not make the playoffs rather than be known as a guy that always loses in the 1st/2nd round? How far does this idiocy go?

So you telling me he thinks his body would hurt a lot easier if he didn't make the finals?:comeon:obviously he said he rather not make the playoffs than to lose in the finals. That had nothing to do with his body and more to do with going so far just to lose in the end.

Lebron first 7 years. He lost in the finals twice, and in the playoffs himself so stop acting like he was in the finals every year from the time he came I the league. A bunch of finals Ls is worse than losing in the playoffs which I he admitted

The nikka asked "would I rather not make the playoffs than to lose in the finals"

Nah that was probably the most impressive and unlikely championship run in NBA history. Everyone had the Mavs dead in the water, peaked years ago when they blew the finals, then the next year won 67 and an MVP for Dirk only to get upset in the first round. Just a treadmill team on the downward slope, then all the sudden played the best ball of their entire run at the exact right time. Nobody had them going anywhere, let alone winning it all.

WCSF against defending champ Lakers (who returned everyone): 4-0 sweep.

Lakers had

Kobe at 1st-team All-NBA and 4th in MVP voting
Gasol at 2nd-team All-NBA
Bynum at his peak, would be 2nd-team All-NBA the next year
Odom putting up 14-9-3 and winning 6th Man of the Year in a runaway
plus MWP, Barnes, and Blake all at ages 30-31

Ended in a 122-86 embarrassment where Jason Terry outscored Kobe 32 to 17 on fewer shots.

WCF against next year's WC champs OKC: 4-1

Thunder had:

Durant at 1st-team All-NBA and 5th in MVP voting
Westbrook at 2nd-team All-NBA
Ibaka putting up 10 and 8 with 2.4 blocks/game, 2nd in DPOY voting the next year
Harden as a great 6th man coming off the bench for 12ppg, would be 6th Man of the year the next year
plus Seflosha, Collison, Perkins

Ended in three straight Dallas wins after OKC had tied it up 1-1

Finals against next year's NBA Champs Miami: 4-2

Miami had:

Lebron at 1st-team All-NBA and 2nd in MVP voting
Wade at 2nd-team All-NBA
Bosh an All-star putting up 19 and 8 as the third option

Ended in three straight Dallas wins after Miami went up 2-1

In those three rounds, Dallas took out MOST of the All-NBA 1st and 2nd teams, MOST of the NBA's top-5 MVP vote, and they only lost 3 games along the way. They also beat the defending champs AND both teams that would meet in the next year's Finals. That was a sick run. No one can take shyt away from that team.

The east sucks. LeBron's opponents in the finals usually do not.

Tim Ducnan, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Dirk Nowitzki....

Some of the 20 best players of all time occupy that list. What's the shame in losing to that? Especially when his team is usually the underdog?

Let's not pretend Jordan wouldn't have had his work cut out for him against those Spurs and Warriors teams. He never faced squads on that level.

:ehh:I'd say twice his team should've been the favorite, that being 2012 and 2013. Every other trip his opponent has had the better team and almost always the better coaching staff with the exception of 2012. Aside from 2012, he's faced pop, Carlyle, and Kerr :manny:

:russ: you have nearly twice as many negs as posts. Nobody is gonna take you seriously.

you implying the Mavs were the favorites over the Heat? :mjlol:

Just in my lifetime of watching basketball.

1998 Bulls
2000-02 Lakers
2008 Celtics
2009-10 Lakers
2012-13 Heat
2014 Spurs

The following teams would all dismantle this year's Warriors squad.
none of the bolded would beat this team. I'm not even sure jordan bulls could beat this team either

This warriors team is one of the most stacked NBA teams of all time. Doesn't matter how good Lebron is, the odds are not in his favour.

So based on the premise of this thread, Lebron and the Cavs should this series to avoid Lebron's inevitable L and stain to his Finals record.

No. Miami was the favorites, but Dallas was a better team and the worst matchup possible for Miami. Vastly better coaching staff that season, much deeper team, and they had shooters to space the floor. Between the regular season and playoffs they went 6-2 against Miami with 3 wins by 10+.

Heat were heavy favorites with HCA

Lebron simply dropped the ball that series and way underperformed
