@DrX

Real shyt....i've said before that if nikkas put half as much energy into chasing entrepreneurship as we put into chasing p*ssy, sneakers, pipe dreams of going pro out of high school, rapping, etc there would be more progress collectively
I'm just so disgusted with how some black men are so unbelievably simple.

I see successful black people here all the time...black CEOs, business people, business owners, writers, corporate people, lawyers, doctors, athletes, entertainers, etc.

I want to see black men succeed DAMMIT...not being happy being mediocre.

@CodeBlaMeVi said it. We can't be average in america. WE don't have the benefit of white privilege where we can just be happy being mediocre and survive being mediocre. We really do have to be twice/three times/four times better than everyone else to get half of the results. This is why alot of black men are struggling. Besides the weight of institutional racism shutting many doors for us that could provide us with the lifestyle of being "average: that white people can afford, we don't have generational wealth. So black men happy being average and trying to be average...suffer. Cause that's not meant for us.

How are people...not paying attention to this!? Generations of black men and women are actually more likely to move down in class then move UP nowadays...we can't do what white people do and expect the same results simply because of our collective position!

This is why my thought process on everything has legit changed cause I have this in the back of my mind all the time!

This thread came at the right time because i was about to start one myself to say something similar. Forreal, its like nikkas havent learned from the mistakes of like gen x dudes

I know some dudes will say, "not every black men is meant to be a boss" but its like, yeah i know not everyone is cut out for it, but thats not an excuse for why so many black men show little interest in it, there should be more who are trying to go that route, instead there are so many show no interest in whatsoever

There are too many dudes who have shyt jobs working for white men but arent trying to do anything about it...then they wonder why we're viewed as dependent instead of viewed as being bosses...and the thing is, i never knock a nikka for TRYING to build...u know...but if u are complacent or content with minimum wage scraps and are complaining about not being respected...its like fukk outta here man....

i busted my ass working like 2-3 gigs, stacking/saving money until i was able to start my own shyt...and made sure i didn't knock up any women along the way...i know not all black men want to go into business for themselves but its crazy that so few even want to or try

There have been black men that i have tried to help...and when it got to the point where it was time to actually put their money where their mouth was, dudes backed out. These were dudes who complained about their job and claimed they wanted better for themselves, i tried to give them the game on what to do, how to get started, etc. I gave them more info than the avg dude would. But they made excuses for why they never pursued it, and these same dudes find ways to get the new shoe releases, overpriced clothes, pop bottles, etc yet day in day out complain about how underpaid they are by their white boss

That is what i find holds black men back a lot from our true potential, there is too much complaining about not being respected by black women and white ppl etc, and not any action. That is a big reason why we're not respected as a collective. If a large amount of black men were actually trying to build then that'd be different but what i see is complacency, being ok with whatever's thrown to us by white men, wasting money on dumb shyt instead of using our money to build, and then complaining about our position in society

I made a thread recently about black men needing to have at least 2 streams of income....regardless of your occupation...boss or employee, u should have more than one stream of income...it got mixed responses but it's something that should be the norm....as i said even wealthy ppl generally have more than one stream of income even though they're already loaded...so why wouldn't a regular man who actually needs it, not want to have that...
I'd like to read that thread

The bolded has been something I've been trying to shake personally myself.

I think alot of people are scared of putting themselves out there and making those moves. Cause it takes alot of hard work and sacrifice...and I don't know if it's because of single parent households or a general attitude of "it won't work" and conditioning from racism to view our efforts as possible failures or seeing why their ideas would fail instead of why they would succeed, but yeah, alot of black men make excuses.

And this is why nikkaz staying losing while other races are moving ahead in society.
Then we wonder why women deep down don't respect us as men the way they do with white, asian, indian, and spanish men.
Then we wonder why asian women, white women, black women, and others make more money than us on a collective scale and we are the last in terms the ranks of earning potential.
Then we wonder why these women collectively see black men as children and other races of men as "men"
Then we wonder why the black community and black men continually become emasculated while black women become more masculine.

It's
i haven't read the responses yet but i'm pretty sure nikkas in here said some shyt like "fukk ownership, where the p*ssy at...where the weed at"...Yet those same dudes will be mad when people think/say that all black men are about in 2016 is chasing p*ssy, hoop dreams, rapping and Jordans

Some of u are so glad to act like and be a stereotype.

nikkas are like: chase p*ssy and not power brehs. Even though, with power comes even more p*ssy

Yeah u can get p*ssy if u don't have power, but your options women-wise are more way plentiful when u have power or at least ownership of something

But black men in 2016: "fukk starting businesses or making investments nikka....im just tryin to cop them new releases and get some p*ssy"

And "fukk owning property nikka.....im just trying to cop them new releases and get some p*ssy" etc

But then will complain about not being respected or taken seriously. U don't even take yourself seriously though

If all u care about is p*ssy & not ownership of anything except a whip you're a loser...and probably will remain one....you'll also probably knock up some thot along the way...
It's like some black men are happy to be not seen as men, as grown children, and to not be respected. And happy to be emasculated.

No woman respects a man who is making more than him.
No woman respects a man who is dependent on others, especially women.
Women respect money and power.
This is why women collectively do not respect black men.

They might think you're cool to fukk a couple of times, but they will build with a white, asian, hispanic, indian man cause they can open doors to the lifestyle they want and that shyt costs money...

This concept should be its own separate thread. If the black man had his economic base and could provide jobs, safety, and opportunities for black women/children. She would have more respect for him and he wouldn't have to hound and beg for p*ssy
Why do you think these asian, indian and spanish women hook up with lame and unattractive cacs? Cause they got money and provide opportunities.

WE gotta work twice as hard to get that attention from women even if we got the looks...

Cause women love MONEY more than MEN.

In all seriousness, we need a Self Improvement subforum/subsection. That way those of us who want to get after it can have a place to congregate and those who just want to discuss women/life/etc can have TLR.
Then we can also discuss the legal side of business, LLCs, licensing, franchising, sourcing materials and product, the technical side of business, paperwork, etc.

I'd rather do both.

I'm not a simple nikka that's satisfied with p*ssy and blunts, I want more...

It's different here in NYC, the shyt is all around us here...

that desire might not be the same where everyone else is at...simply because the pace of life is much faster here and this city consumes so much of your time and money trying to survive, pay bills, eat, and keep a roof over your head.

Everyone else seems to be on a slower pace...I just naturally move faster and have more desires then some chick or whatever, and when you got money and power the women come to you ,otherwise you just spending money to get laid, when you really don't have to.

I've been sexing random young 20 somethings as of late, dont' get it twisted, I'm good there, but I want MORE.
More money to do the things I want and like to do...like go buy expensive clothes, nice cars, go to eat at nice restauarantys, gorge myself on the best and tastiest food cause I love food....travel, go to nice places, take women out whereever, buy them stuff.

You see all of these rich and powerful people around here rubbing elbows with the poorest people in the country and it makes you think about the world differently.

Alot of you simply do not have that fire and passion @DrX has...you wouldn't survive out here in NYC. The rest of the country is suited to people who just think that happiness is some p*ssy, getting high, and whatever boring shyt.

Im trying to rule the world...if you aren't...don't talk to me.

Well, a job ain't never getting you wealthy
