If OKC wins the title, is it the hardest path to a 'ship in NBA History?

If they make it to the finals.....We are talking about beating a 65+ team coached by arguably the greatest coach of all time,

:mjlol:

not even close. pop top 5 but arguably it's phil and red. Pop has lost way to many times in the playoff as the favorite

I'm assuming you are referring to 2014 then.... Ibaka got hurt and missed the WCF IIRC. Spurs have never beaten the Thunder fully healthy... it's a bad matchup for them

Even with a hobbled Ibaka, OKC blew out those Spurs in two games and went down to the wire in Game 6.

But the Spurs blew the shid out of them in the other 3 games. Healthy or not, Ibaka isn't going to be swatting away all those 3 point shots and OKC still didn't have a reliable 3rd scorer or post threat at the time.

It's not even close. OKC are facing 2 teams that avg 70 wins. That's crazy. And if they survived this. They get the best player in the world along with 2 other guys that are arguably top 5 at their positions.

Don't forget having to win 2 series against teams with home court advantage that lost 1 and 2 home games all season respectively.....

The Truth
Dirk's Mavs were an appetizer in the first round.

But running through a 67 win Spurs team, a 73 win record setting Warriors team coming off a 'ship with the league MVP, and Bron's #1 seed Cavs at full strength is damn near impossible.

Name a team that's had a harder path to an O'Brien trophy. You can't.
Honestly... Yeah

If OKC wins it all ill give them the upmost respect

Still feel like 2011 Dallas because dirk faced off against teams with multiple superstars and didn't have one of his own
Three big threes
Lebron bosh Wade
Durant Westbrook harden
defending champs,Kobe gasol Bynum.
All hall of famers except Bynum

And they didn't just win they smashed the
They were underdogs in every series
Anything other than this doesn't need to be mentioned.

Dirk :wow:

Like @FAH1223 said, Ibaka was back for Games 3-6. And the Spurs closed out OKC in OKC without Tony Parker in the second half of that game.
