If Pookie Loc managed to kill Gucci Mane back in 2005, what would the rap game look like?

So Cal
Trap music might not exist and some artists might don't blow. The beats are way different cause every trap producer comes from his tree.

At first I thought it was pure hate but the more I watch I begin to think mfks really have no clue about rap outside their stanning material.

50, Wayne and Gucci gave gangsta rap another 70 years on the charts.

Gucci was never a chart topping artist...especially to the degree the other two you mentioned were

50 is DONE DONE with music :mjlol:

Wayne is sucka rap. Eating p*ssy, tricking on thots, worshipping IG hoes. He the, opposite of gangsta rap.

Gucci is trap music, but far less intellectual than east coast gangsta rap of the crack era.

Gucci would've still went down in ATL rap history but his death would've affected things in a big way

Jeezy would've probably died if Gucci got killed tbh. East coast rap would've came back at least commercially. Shawty Lo, Bankroll, Rocko, maybe Dro, emerge as major pieces in building the new sound of the A. Some rapper would have filled his lyrical void and consumed that fanbase tho. It's just a matter of who. Maybe King Los is better received. Gucci was very instrumental in shaping the sound of hip hop today

Jeezy killed by who? Gucci is a transplant himself. There’s a reason Jeezy has been running around Atlanta worry free for 20 years despite sending a hit on the super gangster who actually survived it.

The game would be exactly the same maybe different timing of events. Waka would still rap, Zaytoven would still produce, these fools would still be junkies and would still have tattoos on their face.

Facts is that Gucci sound is very diverse, it’s not like he father a distinctive rapping style or genre. His influence is more based on the people he signed and how he carried himself. That ignorant half illiterate junkie swag.
