If Pookie Loc managed to kill Gucci Mane back in 2005, what would the rap game look like?

No Flockavelli? No Salute Me or Shoot Me's? :wow::mjcry:

You bw forced to listen to Jeezy or lyrical rap from NY. Also, autotune would have died with T Pain's career and people forced to step their bars up.

Only if you juelzing. Three 6 was irrelevant by the time trap got hit. shyt, lex luger got juicy j popping.
they might’ve been irrelevant, but that doesn’t mean that influence the modern “trap” as far as the subject matter and the sound. You can even cite early Cash Money as an influence.

The modern sounds of trap started with shawty redd, zaytoven, drumma boy and more specifically, lex luger. He started it for the current run. You either :flabbynsick: or juelzing if you disagree. :yeshrug:

for some reason I think Alley Boy or East Side Jody or Rocko would of been bigger if Gucci wasn't around.

A lot rappers wouldn't have existed, say what you want about Gucci but he definitely put on a lot of rappers.

Being from where I'm from and my age being what it is, I've observed that Gucci's legacy had more to do with his street life (and people's need to dikkride street nikkas) than his musical contributions.

People outside the south like his music but we don't see Gucci as a great. Some of the artists he put on, contributed more legendary music to the general culture than he did.

Well since the prison industrial economy gateway first decade based incarnation. Was coming to a close.
Jeezy would have gone on without any opposition. Or naysayers or anyone alive who contributed to his first gw forays to make jeezy jeezy. Plus, when jeezy fell off on the cute mixtape.
There would have been no Gucci on comeuppance to give the south its new breed of street. It took off from the larger boom of ti's trap music relaunch and jeezy's dominance.

Not to mention, the users here would not be here. As i would have had no Gucci reviews. That lead to the mass edosus of Gucci fans I created a beacon for to come here whether they know it or now as well.
