I wouldn't mind seeing RuRu as champ for the rest of the year, I think he has earned it. They really need to generate excitement and credibility so having the old guard fight for and NOT win helps.
I would have Cena lose to KO.

It shouldn't be Brock right off hand just cause he wont be there for long periods of times and they need that belt to be defended on the show a lot to start in over to get it over. It should be someone like Owens or Cesaro who gets it. Maybe Bray if they build him back up right and give him some wins over some legit main event caliber wrestlers. A dark horse would be Rusev. They have begin the push with him again and he can get over to the point where you would want to see someone like Zayn or Cesaro take the belt off him. But if they are going with an established vet then their is no better choice then AJ Styles to be the first "new" champion.
i dont think y'all get it tho. People dont give a damn about Smackdown right now. Owens being champ isn't going to make people watch BOTH nights. Neither is Cesaro, damn sure not Bray.
Brock is must see tv. You need to eat some costs and pony up the money and pay him to be there/or appear via satellite each weekfor a couple months. Once the belt has credibility, THEN you can put it on AJ or maybe back to Rollins, etc. At that point, the show can sustain itself.
People will watch the show initially just off the novelty factor of the draft and them being live now. If they do make Brock champion then he needs to be active a lot more for the period that he is champion for.

Well he WAS world title material AT ONE POINT. But once he started jobbing to Rusev and others after he broke away from AJ and Dolph, he became a waste. Sure there's a chance he could have a Mark Henry run someday....but right now there's alot of competition.
As for Apollo, well he's not world title material just based off his style and character. The talent is there to be a contender though and I Think he can connect with fans. He'll end up at the new Kofi but with a few more major title shots.
