In defense of those who do choose the third answer, you need to not associate with people who gonna try to use you so they order a whole bunch of b.s. because they know they not really paying for it. That’s why either yes or it depends.

Never been to a spot that does separate checks for a party 4 or even asked, but usually what we do is one check one of us would pay they send money via cash app or whatever and usually everyone pays their share
