I would personally say:

Don: Robert De Niro

Michael: Michael Fassbender

Santino: Tom Hardy

Fredo: Justin Chatwin

The only problem is, Michael is supposed to be the youngest brother and this would definitely change the dynamics of the original but I just can't think of any big name actor who could possibly do the role justice

Oscar Isaac would be a good Michael. When I first saw the thread I thought that would probably be the toughest role to fill modern day. I also agree with Fassbender as Hagen like a poster said a few posts back.

THIS. RIGHT. HERE. The Godfather is timeless and perfect the way it is. Knowing Hollywood though a remake will be made.

Timelessness will never stop Hollywood. They know they will get millions off the name alone. Its all about the money.
