The owners really didn't think it through they let the hardline owners ( mj , spurs, suns, gilbert ) run shyt like these nikkas will follow the money. They fail to realize that a smartly run team is the only alternative to a big markets. Noone wants to sign in Charlotte when they might go into a fire sale any day . People will sign in Memphis cause they are competitive, people don't wxnt to go to Tdot/Houston who look like they running around with there heads cut off .
fukk these owners trying to own the game
Word. fukk these owners doing what their job description says

Trying to win ≠ spending a shytload of money on players...
Indiana was under the cap, and held their own against the Heat.
the quick come up is what far too many GM's lust over
And this is ultimately what small markets complain about. Indiana has done pretty much everything right, yet they're not even in the convo for a Deron Williams. OKC is arguably the best run squad right now and they can't get Dwight Howard's attention. That's what annoys teams. Free agency pretty much isn't an option for squads like that even if they have the most competent front offices. There's only one option that helps teams out and it's an option neither side wants.
