Simply put; the best players to ever play in the NBA are the ones who play here now.

Jordan was simply ahead. Just the first of his kind, but the overall skill level of players is much better. Skill sets and Conditioning.

Yeah you got the legends. Kareem's, Magic's Jordan's etc. but they were all exceptions. Watching old school ball is  sometimes. 7'0 white Guy's who surely couldn't be in the league now.

They look amateurish at times. Plenty of players who played in the 90s wouldn't even be in the league today. Maybe on the sixers or something, but not on a contender.

Point is. In a no Zone league. Where Steph Curry could call for an Iso at the top of three point line whenever he wanted, he'd be unstoppable. Athletes in the league today have the best conditioning ever. Are faster and more powerful than ever. And we are in the golden age of point guards.

Go ahead and put John Stockton or Mark Price at the 3 point island with Steph and talk all that "but they legends :smugbiden:" shyt.

Dudes would have gotten lit up for 40 every game. He drops 40 with no space, zones, and two people contesting a Lot of his shots

In an Iso league he'd probably be more deadly than Jordan. Simply because he's money from everywhere. He wouldn't even have to take too many lay ups, and "get physical", if he's money from everywhere above 35 feet.

These new ballplayers are not as good as the older ballplayers, at all, period.

Who are the guys as good as:

Larry nance
Daughterty
Mark price ; where is the white cat as good as him. Where is your bird, tom chambers.
Where is your gifted but slacker white boy post player god who wastes his talent in the post like Ron seikly.
Where is your drazen petrovic?
Where is your Ricky pierce, off the bench?
Where is your microwave?
Where is your Joe dumars?
Dennis Rodman?
Bill laimbeer : Where is you white cerebral game changer who excels at the pick and pop like laimbeer and then psyches you out the whole ball game?

Just stop.
So who is as good as;

Connie Hawkins
DR J
Dominique wilkins
Magic
Bird
CHUCK
hakeem

Imma stop you little nikkaz can't even play in the post or man to man defense.
Your Gen nobody has a standard fifteen foot jumper at all, period.
In the old NBA all of them had to be able to shoot mid range to play and all of them were tested and true real high IQ players.
Plus, you dudes in this Gen don't even olay ball recreationally as much as the old Gen.
So how in the bloody fukk are you dudes better.
Sorry, but you never really
saw any older ballplayers.
So, this is a deflection based emotional take on the fact.
you don't know what you are talembout.

terrible logic all over this first post.
Mark P was that good, thats your answer. Oscar and other old heads never said small guys couldnt be good/great players see I.thomas. see spud webb, tyrone bogues, see john stockon(white buy, not huge, not super athletic). no one disrespects price or stockton, why not?

because the rules have become so soft, EVERYONE runing PG balls out even if they are mediocre. so that means guys that are actually really good. look like once upon a lifetime ultra mega legends.

The question the OP should be asking is this. If mark price was that good in the 90's. how good would he be with these laxed rules favoring guard play and all the analytics telling everyone to shoot the three with the ultimate green light, while adding 100's of picks to every play so you will never be guarded 1 on 1. yall would be calling mark price in 2016 the greatest white boy to ever lace em up.
This is bullshyt. When Russy gets wide open dunks I never hear old timers say they would've laid him on his ass. It's only this unison of disdain for Steph.

You're right. The 90s were trash.

Jordan and Pippen and Malone and Olajuwon would ride the bench if they were on Golden State this year.

:troll:
Wasn't implying the 90's was trash, just saying that if an unathletic guy that was 6'0 175 could make 4 allstar rosters in the 90's Steph would've done much better.

That might be because we've seen Russ miss wide open dunks a few times. lol

Yes. That cavs squad was mentally weak outside of mark and hot rod williams. NBA regular games could've went any way. NBA playoffs warriors would win due to team depth. That Cavs team had an atrocious bench.

WHOA, mayne...them Cavs teams were deep - when healthy...but they were rarely healthy,
and they were an old team. I mean, they had

- 3 all-stars (Price, Daugherty, Nance)...but Daugherty had Sam Bowie Syndrome,
and Larry Nance was the oldest man in the league not named Moses Malone.
- Hot Rod, who was a boss
- Post Jheri Curl Michael Cage. Once that curl went, he could see what he was doing.
- Terrell Brandon...who became an all-star himself when Mark Price got hurt.
- Danny Ferry
- Gerald Wilkins

They stayed in the hunt in the East, but they had problems getting past The Bulls
(who are an all-time great team) and The Knicks (who were the epitome of what the
older players are talkin' about - a team who would rough you up).

If Mark Price is a top 20 pg of all time that should tell you how weak the talent level of the league has been throughout history :yeshrug:

Rose, Lowry, Teague, Parker, Conley, Lillard, Kyrie, Wall, Russ, CP3, Steph >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mark Price.

And that's not even including 00s PGs.

How the hell is Mark Price a top 20 PG of all time? :laff: :laff:

Conley? Lowry? Rose? Parker? Teague??

Mark Price was a good player and he was dishing off to a quality Brad Dougherty.

Curry would still be an all star caliber player in the 1990s.
But teams didn't shoot 20-30 three pointers a game. So Curry wouldn't average 30 a night.

:dead:

That sounds like it could be a coli account along with Responsible Allen Iverson and Sensitive Blake Griffin.
Quality Brad Dougherty

Isiah Thomas ate too :mjlol:

And he was small :manny:

So I guess that means steph would eat more cause he's a little taller.

I guess Isiah Thomas from Celtics would eat too since he's named Isiah Thomas after all:ohhh:

Imagine how much prime AI would eat in 2016 if white Mark Price could eat during the 90s. :mindblown:

All this "eating" talk is making me hungry :noah:

Mark Price was playing in the toughest, deepest eastern conference of all time. AI was playing in the exact opposite. the AI/J Kidd east (99-2003 era) was weak as hell.

and Isaiah Thomas of the Celtics is the best PG in the eastern conference this year :lawd:
