But people would demand a new replacement and there is already a ton of apps in the cut waiting to replace Twitter right now. They just don't have the popularity.

And therein lies the problem. The user base.

There are already apps similar to Twitter, even on the military side. What makes Twitter useful is the number of people using it and the diversity.

Real people also use Xbox live and talk like they would never talk in real life. Same with Clubhouse. Rap is also real, but a rapper will tell you he’s in character and playing it up.


Same with twitter/facebook/Instagram. A large percentage of users are using it to have their own reality. It’s not real.

you seem to have a problem with people flexing on Twitter. You can easily tweak your feed to eliminate. Twitter has incredible value from the instant news you're able to get.
