If we discovered Aliens or if Aliens made contact with us, how would that impact our religions?

yep.
I think only if you have a religion that believes in aliens though because aliens should make people who believe in Christianity open their eyes a little bit since supposed earth is the only focus in the bible

I don't think so necessarily...

I mean, the Bible doesn't say there aren't other realms in the universe where life exists...it just tells us that Earth is the only place where humans can live. Frankly, we have a hard enough time dealing with other humans - imagine how much we ain't ready to deal with non-humans!

But personally, I have not ruled out the possibility of "something else" in the universe...the parts in the Bible I think of in connection with that idea are:

- In Genesis where they defy the command to spread out to inhabit the Earth, and instead try to build the Tower to the heavens...God put the drop on that

- Jesus told the Apostles "I have many things to tell you, but you aren't ready yet..."

- Revelation says Earth will be cleansed and "new scrolls will be opened". Might be some scrolls talmbat "Aight, if y'all act right for a little bit, we can get some more planets to visit..."

SO the working definition of alien is being from another planet? Rather than being not of/from the earth. Idrc either but a argument definitely could be made for a lot of religious text concerning extraterrestrial beings.

naw. shyt mexicans are called aliens when they come here illegally.
I was just using Alien to fix the context with what the topic was about
