For one, “black” is barely a thing outside of America in the way we use it. We’ve developed this identity by being a minority in a majority white country.What about the Black ones? I know quite a few who are. How can they treat their fellow Black people badly?
When you look at things like the Rwandan Genocide or any of the other ethnic conflicts on the continent. Those people sharing the same skin tone, didn’t stop the mass rape, murder, and displacement of weaker groups. Because blackness as a uniting identifier doesn’t exist.
And it doesn’t exist anywhere outside of America.
