1. You and anyone you care about at the residence could be put in danger, physically harmed, or if the person is crazy enough killed.

2. You can come out on top on the confrontation, but now you have to deal with the authorities. May be pulled away from your family members, and all you got in the end was that you won an overally internet beef.

3. Even if you attempt to claim self-defence, giving them your address can be used by the prosecution as you were instigating the confrontation. That may negate your own self-defense claim, leaving you open to doing time in prision. Fighting this in court can be an exspensive waste of your finances that Iam pretty sure you have better things to spend your money on.

Defending your home and family from people is perfectly fine and should be done as the male of the family. Seeking confrontations over idiotic reasons should not be done. You are the protector of your family, you should not be seeking to confront anyone over an internet beef or calling someone to come see you so you can fight each other over an internet beef.

Really, if the anger is that great and you feel loosing control, you can just turn off the computer and go do something else for a few hours. Give your mind to actually process what is really important to you without out dealing with the flood of emotions and adrenaline rushes. That way, you can make a clear headed decision on if that person you do not know, on the website that is unimporant to the wellbeing of you and your family, is worthy of you taking the chance of throwing away your life or freedom over?

There is a time to fight, and there is a time to think. Which one do you think should take precedence when it comes to anything that happens over an internet website?
