The jury is out on whether or not people would buy a Skyrim or COD on a Nintendo platform but make a good, different console that offers something that can't be done on the PS4/XB1 and people might buy them. You can't not put something on a console and then say "see no one buys them!" The 3rd party games that didn't sell well on the past Wii U/Wii are because those ports were pretty much garbage. Tacked on motion controls, horrible outdated graphics/performance. it's no wonder people skipped it.
Have to disagree here... I own a lot of the ports and the only legitimately garbage ones are Watchdogs(it didn't really affect me it was certainly not unplayable) and ACIV (framerate wise). Missing some DLC in some cases like Mass Effect 3 but they run well and Need for Speed and Deus Ex HR were undoubtedly the best versions.

Mass Effect 3 was essentially a PS3/360 game.

Watchdogs wii U was cross gen title(PS3/360 version)

Compared to the PS4 version?? They were trash. I'm mainly talking about the few ports that made it to the Wii.

I said I agreed with you that watchdogs was garbage that and ACIV were the only cross gen games that came to Wii U.

I was talking about games that came out between 2012-2013.
