The POINT is that your average kid knew he wasnt Jordan just because he drank Gatorade. The average dude playing pickup ball wasnt tryna come down and yam it from the foul line because the very thought was absurd. Jordan did things only he could do and everyone watched in awe.

Curry, on the other hand, is small, unathletic, has wide appeal and basically came out of nowhere to be crowned the "best player in the world" by jacking up low percentage 3pters. Thats not the only thing he does but thats what hes known for and thats what all the highlights show. People tryna emulate MJ were taking foul line jumpers and shrugging their shoulders. Anyone that could emulate his dunks, more power to em. We let them run the entire damn offense. Ain't no pickup point guards, but if you got a guy that can pass out of the post you'll get easy shots from beyond the arc and by cutting towards the basket.

Dont tell me what I witnessed growing up, maybe that didnt happen where you were, but the playgrounds I grew up in, we emulated most of the great players, Jordan included.
