Real talk though, I can't imagine driving an automatic car as my daily car:scust:

Would probably fall asleep from boredom. There is no difference in driving a golf cart and an automatic to me:dame:

Manual transmission keeps you on your toes. You're in total control of the car, hence it actually requires a level of skill to use properly:ohlawd:

Man I learned on an old ass Ford truck with three on the tree. That feeling when the light turns green and you stall out...repeatedly...:sadcam:. I used to hate when I was first learning and mufukkas would get right on your ass on an incline :martin:
These new cars are easy as hell to drive although I'd hate living in a hilly area.

:mjlol:This guy.

Listen, if it makes you feel any better, you're 100% right, you do have a better car than me.

Still doesn't change the fact you don't know the difference between a pedal and a lever. :umad:

Just take the L, and KIM

And it finally comes out. If you wanna feel like this is a win for you, take it :russ:I'll gladly take this L and hang onto that W of smokin a fat one with my non gear shiftin ass, in a whip I own that you prolly couldn't even afford a car note on:bryan:

I'm glad you can keep your right hand occupied while driving, cause you sure don't use it to count paper :mjlol:

See, this is the shyt that let's you know you can drive anything.....maybe 1 in 1000 folks would even remotely know how to drive a 3-on-the-tree. This is how I learned to drive stick on grand-pop's '53 chevy truck then progressed to his '79 F-600 dump truck with 4-speed + 2 speed rear axle...
...but even that ain't shyt compared to driving an underpowered grain-truck with 2 transmissions...5 speed + 4 speed auxillary..

I just took my first lesson on driving a manual transmission today. I'm taking lessons at this driving school. It went ok I guess. A little overwhelming I guess. I didn't go out on the road though. Just stayed in the parking lot. So much to remember. I got 4 more hours of driving time left. I'm doing an hour lesson this Saturday. Does this get easier brehs? I decided to learn because Im interested in cars and always wanted to but never had the chance. I figured its a great skill to have. Any advice would be great. I dont own a stick shift car or know anyone with one. I figured the only way to practice would be to buy one.

It gets insanely easier. You just gotta feel out the clutch and how much gas to give it. It's a bit of a science but once you got it, you got it. I taught a herb how to drive my truck over the phone and he got it. It's easy.
