Nah I meant the hand, I didn't know the pedal was the clutch, I figured clutch and stick shift were interchangeable for the same thing .

I guess you have never been in a manual transmission car except maybe Gran Turismo on Playstation.

The clutch pedal controls the clutch, not the gears. The stick shift changes gears, and has nothing to do with operating the clutch.

Driving a manual is not convenient for those of us that live in areas with hella traffic.
edit: Most car manufactures are moving away from the manual transmissions anyway, hate it or love it. CVT's are the future

CVTs aren't the future. For some companies, they are going towards CVT because it is cheaper than building a transmission with more gears (like Mercedes-Benz). I haven't heard good things about CVTs, like Saturn cars with CVT. But less people are buying manual transmission cars so supply is following demand.

It gets insanely easier. You just gotta feel out the clutch and how much gas to give it. It's a bit of a science but once you got it, you got it. I taught a herb how to drive my truck over the phone and he got it. It's easy.

Manual transmission keeps you on your toes. You're in total control of the car, hence it actually requires a level of skill to use properly

Word the time has passed these new manual “paddles” just don’t have the magic. Had to have your coordination, whits everything all in tune. Add in extra horse and everyday was a holiday.
