You made the statement that keyboard is better because it's harder to use, and choosing a controller is retarded period. Then you game me a list of games designed for a analog joystick, that you claim is better with keyboard (cause u beat your girlfriend, or some random asian learned to play sf on it) wanna see prove that keyboard is a better way to play any of the games I named. ) But backtracking a little bit here, you have already conceded that aiming with mouse is better than a pad. And since there is no practical way to play with your mouse without using a keyboard.. whether or not kb alone is better than pad, is a pretty moot subject, now isnt it?

uh, that's pretty much exactly what people in this thread were saying about using a controller for FPS games
obviously certain game types were designed with a certain method of control in mind. FPS games originated on PC, and were designed to be played with a mouse and keyboard. when these games first came to console, it was a rocky road trying to figure out the best control method. to play Goldeneye with two sticks, you needed two controllers. when two stick controllers came around, it was seen as being "terrifying"
And my point is that just cause it better for one thing, doesn't mean controllers are retarded.
I was playing turok and goldeneye using the c buttons to control and the stick to look.

I love PC gaming and my keyboard, but when it comes to needing things such as analog movements, controller is going to be better than a kb/m. Can they be played with kb/m? Absolutely. However the controller does have genre's where it's preferred/better over keyboards.
There's a reason we see racing game enthusiasts use steering wheels for racers...There's a reason we're not seeing kb/m winning at fighting game tournaments. You're not going to be playing 2k or Fifa on a kb/m and pulling off the crossovers with the same fluidity and ease that controllers are.
While I agree that kb/m reign supreme over controller in FPS', RTS', MOBA's and MMO's(which are the most competitive video games on the planet)...there are games/genre's where controllers(or fightsticks/steering wheels) are actually a much better pick than keyboard/mouse. The notion that kb/m can achieve a level unreachable by any controller player at any genre is just wild breh.
I didnt say kb/m was flat out better in all genres, i said kb/m CAN be performed at equal to or better than controller/steering wheels/fightsticks, as in there's nothing a controller or whatever can do that a kb/m can't do. While for fps/rts etc, its 100% a matter of fact that kb/m is the best option.. for other genres its a personal preference, but me personally, i use kb/m for ALL genres of games i play, and i play alot of racing and fighting games. Look at this video of a pro street fighter 2 turbo player:
Im not saying kb is str8 better than controller or stick in a fighting game for example, but i personally will give any nikka on a controller the work with my kb, while the opposite can't be said for controller in a game like starcraft.
In a racing game too, whether u think a steering wheel is the best choice or kb/m is the best choice is up to you, but i can finish a lap in the same time you can, if not better.

come on breh. a steering wheel is better because it's closer to the real thing. you remove a lot of the abstraction of using a controller or keyboard. people don't drive cars with a keyboard
