I psyched myself up bcaa supplements were good for recovery but I don't really think it does anything special. None of these supplements actually go through clinical trials.

Might try the maca powder in a preworkout

Worried it might make me too turned on tho. I work with a lot of women, not trying to get a workout in then show up to work looking like :mjlit::sas1::sas2:

when i was lifting, creatine and chocolate whey protein shakes were the truth.
i didn't use the shakes as a meal replacement, just extra calories to take in on the drive to the gym.

Low weight high reps. Right now I'm really focused on cutting calories too so generally I'm eating eggs, meal shakes, and fish.
Not trying to pick on you but the mistake I see a lot of people make(I made it myself when I first started) is waste time focusing on supplements when that time should be spent on diet and exercise. Your response sounds generic and like there is no plan in place. Nothing wrong with that at all. I just think that you're not at a point where you would see any benefit to adding additional supplements.
