If you were to put Steph Curry on the 2001 Sixers would they still make the finals?

Curry doesnt have the durability to do what Iverson did every night.

Thats the bottom line. Yea he's a better shooter...but in an iso heavy offense he's not going to be even close to effective. Not to mention AI is like top 5 iso scorer of all time. And Curry wouldnt be anywhere near as efficient if you replaced Klay and KD with Eric Snow and Jermaine Jones...so no he's not taking the Sixers to the finals.

nikkas was straight smashing on AI during that run...almost broke his tailbone and knocked out some of his teeth. But Curry's marshmellow ass is gonna power through?

Better question: Does Iverson even carry that team to a playoff seed in the West, let alone the Finals and a title like Steph in 2015

they had the 3rd best record in the NBA that year, im sure they would've been able to make the playoffs in the West.....maybe 48-52 wins. I doubt they'd win 10 less games in the West that year

Healthy Steph is better than Iverson and it’s not that close. I don’t think cats realize how being a shooter like Curry is game-breakingly good.

If he could stay healthy, they easily get to the finals. It’s that simple.
