The only argument that even makes sense here is the durability argument and the fact that Steph might not be able to play through the injuries like AI did.

But Steph has a completely different game and probably wouldn’t take half the punishment AI did. And Steph has a much better reputation with the refs and league officials, he would probably get more calls that AI ever did if he was more aggressive.

But honestly, the Sixers spacing, pace, efficiency, and shot selection would probably go through the roof if you swapped those two. And I’m a huge AI fan.

I love AI, but people gotta remember the Sixers barely made the finals in 2001. things just clicked that year. They lost in the first round the year after even though they added more players and didn't lose any of their core.

It would've been a different story if Carter hit the 3 in game 7.

Curry is much more efficient than Iverson with much more range so the offense can't be worse. Yet Iverson is more durable and Curry has no track record of carrying an offensively inept team.

Curry has only averaged over 38 minutes a game once even when the team was shytty his first few years. Iverson averaged over 41 minutes for his CAREER. He led the league in minutes 7 times.

Miss me with this "efficient" shyt. When you are the entire offense and creating on every possession you are going to take some bad shots. Sixers couldn't afford to have Iverson off the floor at any time.

& even then the dubs had talent

he didn't go from just getting buckets to mvp quality until the coaching got right & the splash brothers came into being

he has never had success doing what ai did carrying a team as the only scoring option
