Curry is obviously a better system piece and is probably a marginally better floor general, but he’s had some sketchy volume shooting performances. I just haven’t seen enough from him to think he could consistently carry an outright offensively inept squad. Especially at a time where they didn’t run nearly the amount of creative picks they do now

Edit: I didn’t even mention the physicality because that’s usually a non factor or a dumb narrative but in this case, Curry has had repeated incidents actually attributed to getting bumped around. He doesn’t straight up hide from combat but he isn’t gonna be able to sustain the shyt AI threw himself into for a whole run.
