DACA recipients are not citizens or on green card status. They're a step below that.
I am well aware of what DACA means. Breh said she's "bypassing" legal residency because I said clearly she was on her way to citizenship and green card through marriage to a US citizen. There's nothing "bypassing" about it. Marriage is a legal means to green card & citizenship

I know that,genius
There's a big difference between a Green card and citizenship
The article said nothing about being a legal alien first.. "waiting on her citizenship" is just juelzing
If she had a Green card none of this would haver happened
She must have some dumb ass people around her too....friends,husband,family members,lawyer..all dumb asses
She should have never left the country
She will be out soon though
I'm still not sure what your whole point is?

You quoted me saying she's bypassing legal residency which was wrong. Waiting on her citizenship via marriage is what it is. It's a process that takes time.

Since she's DACA she wouldn't be able to get a green card on her own but Advance Parole typically worked for travelling outside and coming back in. Sounds like ol 45 fukked up that process

She definitely fukked up not doing the research and blindly trusting some random corporation hse just started working for. Hell at least talk to your lawyer beforehand

:manny: those are the consequences for law breakers...."making it easier" for some law breakers with hardship stories and not all, is why I will never support DACA or illegal immigrants
She came here when she was 3 against her own will. "Law breaker" is being applied a little too liberally in regards to this woman, don't you think?

My parents are immigrants. They came. Got papers. Met a need. Didn’t break the law. Waited in line. Studied for their tests. Paid thousands of dollars. And became citizens.

You tell em, Rajesh

nah. She's illegal thus a law breaker...she benefited from her parents' illegal actions. And now she is being rewarded because of the very loose interpretation of a law that was to originally benefit folks that earned their citizenship after generations of being terrorized

Nah. She benefited for sure. But that's more so making lemons from lemonade. She didn't choose to be raised in america. And everyone has to work. Should she have just remained unemployed because of some weird sense of morality? Again, against her own will she came here at 3yrs old. That's not lawbreaking. She didn't make a conscious decision to cross the border.

if my parents defraud the IRS for my comeup, should I be allowed to keep the money in order to sustain the lifestyle that the money afforded me because I was 3 at the time?

So what about the business owners who benefited from from her parents being here? Because that's the main reason why she's here.
