Nope nope nope.... Terrible fiction.

Try some facts now... Like how I own my resources and more since I acquired more capital abroad.

I actually took a plane here... Never had to run

:umad:

Here's a hint for all you bitter brehs. If you were doing well you wouldn't be catching feelings in here. Stop betraying yourselves.
What resources do you own from your country?

You still left, do you plan on going back to your country?

:ohhh:

More whining and playing the victim, we gotta do better.

Immigrants get a house so fast because their entire family, even the teenagers, work two jobs 7 days a week. All 50 of them live in one funky ass house

That's not a life worth living...fukk dat

Yep. Mexican dude I grew up with got a baby by a mexican girl. She got a house with her mom who is illegal. The house in her name and her momma name. In order to pay the bills on the house her boyfriend lives there, her brother and his girlfriend live there and her uncle lives there.

So basically you have 6 adults chipping in to pay a mortgage.

Understood, but the "whinning' trope very much is still valid bc it clearly demonstrates how ppl still very much see Ados: a group to be taken adv of/ competed against, despite the severe gaslighting, and feigned outrage. Success is something that should be earned taken at any expense...reason why a collective laugh should be audible anytime anyone(Ados incl) ridiculously implies or advocates Ados muling aka 'We uhhhh Blahk'!!
Looks like you ain't working hard enough.:umad:
True

What’s funny People think some of this is just an Internet thing

But

Do you know how many of our so called “brothers and sisters”, who are still working for the white man, flexing their classism because they make a little bit of money, try to tell ME how to run shyt in my own establishment, try to talk down ON ME in person. Try to take them being janked around by their boss out on me. Some of that shyt I hear in real life.

The whole coming into AA spaces and disrespecting them is what everyone does in every fukking microcosmic instance

A lot of men and women in real life speaking that Stephen Darby talk. Pan Africans better do something

Exactly, they ain't never helped us with shyt, but "we aren't working hard enough". So much for Pan-Africanism, we're are going to have a net worth of 0 dollars within the next couple of years and they clearly don't give a fukk.

Classism, social bufferism, *specialism ect. all are practiced, sometimes openly; with consent against Ados. But calling it out for what it is, and bringing oxygen to it means 'division'.If that what it is then...:yeshrug:

You shouldn't either. Too busy 'working hard' ftoward success to be preoccuppied with anything else. They should do the same!:unimpressed:

We will when we stop thinking it's somehow our responsibility to give and be of aide while consistently left or given nothing in return! Reason why these type of dialogues should *now only be had internally with the like minded. Group thinking forms tank grouping, forming group economics ect. On the right track though, 5--even 3 years ago, kinds of conversations weren't commonly had. Merry Christmas!!

Above the fray.
@saturn7

Your last post to me sounds like borderline paranoia, don't you think ? What about the skit, or of any comment I've ever posted here would suggest that I was mocking AAs with the post you quoted?

I know some internet personalities have played up this paranoia for traffic and hits, but don't you think it's being carried too far?

@The Fade

You made what I consider to be borderline paranoia comment recently along those same lines. I think you said that older Pan Africanist AAs were naive, and that they only promoted it...didn't know how Africans and Islanders really feel about them . But that modern day AAs know the truth because they have access to social media. That you put John Henrik Clarke in that category was puzzling and disturbing.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you might not have known JHC's history and his works.

This paranoia is clouding judgement.

I have personally seen prejudice play out in every direction among Black people, and have always called it out. I think you guys are overstating the amount of free time adults have to be thinking about/talking about other groups of Black people. Seriously.

:salute:

I agree, we gotta start being apathetic and only care about us like everyone else.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Public schools are tax funded. If you redline a group of people into an area where they on average make less than other neighborhoods the school system will reflect that.

that's bullshyt. at the end of the day, with technology, you can't hide information.

there was a time when black people could go to certain colleges because they were not white.

those days are over. Kids aren't learning shyt, because they have no desire to learn. Parents have the desire, some don't. And the ones that do, either don't have time to put in the work to push them, or don't want to take the responsibility to do it.

Our people at one point couldn't go to college in this country, so we built our own. with little to know help.
Our segregated schools bred the best athletes

Eventually, we got so caught up in wanting to stand beside the white man, we became obsessed with it. And now we still feel the need to blame them for everything with out having to take responsibility.

I got a right to be paranoid. lol

My issue is whenever immigrants are mentioned, along with how hard they work on their 8 jobs for 2 dollars an hour, it is damn near always used in the context of telling ADOS folks to shut up and stop complaining. You know the rhetoric. "If yall valued education and worked hard instead of blaming the white man you would be something", "You should be grateful" talk.

I don't think immigrants intend for their stories to be used this way but ADOS haters won't hesitate to.
