I'm 35. Why do I feel so fukking....OLD!!!????

I turned 35 last month. I feel like I’m in the nether zone, not too old but not young anymore

Im 35 too and honestly from where I came from im just happy to be alive. Reason why you feel old nikka is because you were born in 84. We dun seen so much in our lifetime in such a short period of time that it feels like we've been here longer than we have.

Sometimes I feel like you where I feel old af. But then i think about where i am financially now vs when I was broke af in my 20's. Some of my friends I grew up with got grey hair and shyt and is the same age as me.


Be thankful youve maintained your youth for this long cause it wont last forever..

A: You're only as old as your mental bookmarks. If you got a lotta key memories, been to different places, done different shyt, had a lot of emotional trauma, you'll feel old. You know how folks say life will make you grow up? Kids be way more mature for their age? It'll make you old, too.

B. You know how when you're young, the summer would seem like it lasted forever? School would draaaag? Think about it. When you're 5 years old, 6 months is a long time. That's a whole 1/10 of your life. Now you're 35, and 6 months aint shyt. Your perception of time is faster cause you lived longer. Makes you feel old.

C. Watching these kids enjoy shyt, and all the stuff you loved when you were their age is "old", and so are you. You remember when kids were kids, now they're grown and got kids. the 90s was almost 30 years ago. I felt old as hell when stuff I was still listening to on the regular wound up on "Throwback Thursdays"

D. You're on the internet. I remember when I first got on hip hop message boards there was this trend: "You're xxage and still posting? uuuggghh!" Now you prolly well past that age

People still think when I got my beard shaved I'm in my 20s.

Mentally I just feel old. I can still think about certain experiences in my life certain ages in my life where I was who I was hanging out with what I was into...

I just feel that as much as I've accomplished in life, I could accomplish more to be honest.

I went by the screenname @*L*E*G*A*C*Y* for a reason, I'm trying to leave a legacy of greatness for myself and future generations.

I've done it (or tried to) with music. Now I have 66 albums, eps, lps and singles, over 400 original songs, my music is all over streaming sites and in stores

I've done radio, I've djd in clubs and opened up for major acts...and I've been making music since I was 13.

It's when you realize how much work you've put into something and how much time passes that you really got to take back and just wow

66 albums? At 34 you have to be one of the most prolific artists in history.

I'm not as old but things I feel we have been through everything from the end of the crack era to the modern sitcoms to beepers to the startup of the internet to the first cell phones to 9/11 to columbine to social media to cassettes to cds to streaming to vcr to dvd to bluray to Netflix to Rodney king to travon to black lives matter to bill Clinton to George bush to Obama to trump to Jordan to kobe to LeBron to Steph to krs 1 to biggie and pac to jayz to ja rule and 50 cent to lil wayne to Kendrick and drake to nip.

I could go on and on about how much the world has changed in the last 30 years its enough to have lived a lifetime. I talk to kids today that were born in 2000 and they've never lived without social media or the internet so all in all you young in life but old in experiences.

Diet and exercise is crucial. Gets real easy to fall off... Whens the last time you ran or lifted weights?

Also winter always makes my energy go down

I do moving (for now) so that helps me to keep moving
