Yes it is the unknown but I know for sure that thread made me aware of how afraid I am of dying. The not knowing when it will happen. I even called my doctor for a check up. I was due anyway but that made take action and make the appt. Hopefully it will pass soon

I think about it too sometimes. The fear of being buried alive comes and goes with me. (like what if were still alive in a dead body

I think the only thing to fear about being dead is dying but having your eyes open being able to see and feel but unable to move. Or having to suffer for an extended period of time before death.
These fears for me were alleviated by practicing Brazillian JIujitsu because when you get choked unconscious after the blood leaves your brain the only thing you see are some of your dead relatives. There is no pain.

I've had friends that OD'd...it was a sobering reality seeing people the same age as me dead and gone.
So with that...should death be seen as a curse? No. Life is a blessing.
We all got to go...so accept it and do what you can while you're alive.

The sad thing is that with society...we know we're all gonna die. Yet we treat each other like garbage and hate and kill each other and are greedy and value the wrong things. We should be building and striving for better as all humans. Cause this planet and humanity is NOT forever.
