Dapped and reppedMost of the good business threads i've seen have been in The Root and Higher Learning. The Locker Room isn't exactly the knowledge corner. Different sections have different types of threads. I think some of you who make these "it's impossible to start a business, if its possible why wont someone explain to me how to do it

It took me a minute to find those links above. All i did was type in The Coli Business/Entrepreneurship. Some of those threads have good advice, are they telling you every single thing step-by-step and providing start up money? No, but some good advice. OP is another case of a black man complaining about someone not holding his hand and Google-ing how to do something for him. The info is out there, not just on The Coli, if someone really wants to know how. Even more comical that nikkas will complain about somebody not bringing them the info of how to start a business instead of researching it himself (when he obviously has internet access), but they will waste countless time discussing athletes and rappers, random IG hoes athletes and rappers are sleeping with, when sneakers are dropping and which colorways are the best, clothes, music, lamborghinis, etc etc etc

Problem most folks have is that they want to make more money than their start up money and/or skill set will allow, and lack the patience and/or work ethic to build a stash and/or skill set to make more initially.
What I did? Applied the above steps to real estate. What I will do goin' forward? Apply the above steps to both real estate (short term, faster money) and stock market (long term, slower money). I'll be a full time professional investor in less than 2 years.
Let me tell you, its hard as hell to rely on the black community. They don't have the instinct to buy things that make them happy.
People think there is a myth that white people just support any white business. That is a lie straight out of the buy black playbook. What really happens is white people are not hesitant to ensure good service is not lost. They see someone do something original and it makes them feel good, they buy instantly.
They don't just say "awesome," or "will support." They do it immediately.
It's what I am currently struggling with. Making an ultra high quality unapologetically black franchise and having a customer base that says "Oh I got to get this," but don't or buy like 1 copy 2 months later.
Most in the black community just don't understand what momentum is. If my kickstarter was to be relied upon exclusively on the black community, I would probably be doomed almost entirely because they take their time in a game where time is the most valuable commodity.

And "business" is a broad term. A business can be anything from a local bar to an online etsy shop selling prints.
You can get it out here, it's not as hard as you think. It just takes TIME. But most people don't have the patience to succeed.
