I'm deciding if I want to circumcise my sons

Once again that is coming from tradition. There are millions of men walking around perfectly fine uncirumcised. Circumcision was always a traditional practice ..so how is it any different? Your cutting off a piece of a child's body without there consent for what reason? Because it visually looks better?

Dudes lose most of the sensitivity in their penis when the foreskin is removed. Religion is the only reason why it's mandatory. There is literally no scientific evidence supporting circumcision it's literally cosmetic. If I could've kept mine I would. Circumcision isn't even practiced heavily in the majority of the world. You wouldn't be born with a foreskin if you didn't need it. Bullshyt religious fanatics propagate circumcision as if your foreskin is vestigial.

And honestly, I think I should leave it to a professional. I don't really think my hand is steady enough. I know the whole issue is about cleanliness but I'm pretty sure that no matter how well I wash my hands, what I learned from the youtube tutorial still might not qualify for the task. I still click the thumbs up on the video. Youtube is great. You can learn anything on there nowadays.

Anyway, anybody else on the fence about the issue? Is one better than the other? I don't plan on having kids just yet but the topic came up so I figured I'd ask and see if anyone has a real perspective on cutting dikks.

Most doctors do it. Also, if you're religious your Abrahamic faith would practice it I'm sure. I was circumcised when I was first born.

I didn't even ask to discuss any of this. All I pointed out was a false equivalency drawn between a skin that can be restored and a clitorus. Also birth is a procedure, consent can't be obtained from a newborn which is why parents are commissioned to make such a decision.

I know someone who made the decision to get circumcised at the age of 20. He survived lol.

OAN, have you seen how babies are circumcised? Not sure how the older ones are, but infants are strapped down in a plank looking thing, naked, so the doctor has full access to cut them. At least that was what I saw once online.

Can you imagine a little boy's first introduction to the world fresh out the womb is someone cutting on his penis? Welcome to life on Earth, indeed. People say they can't remember but the body remembers everything.

Sorry for rambling. If I'd had boys, I didn't want them circumcised.
