I mean on women. In Islam Men are circumcised across the board but female genitalia mutilation is a cultural thing that some folks who are Muslim do. The religion doesn't say to do it but there is one small Hadith they use to justify it. Many scholars stand against it tho. Not lecturing u just putting it out for the public. Male circumcision is sanitary tho

nah I hear you. I first found out about FGM and the random groups/reasoning for it about 5 years ago. It's nasty stuff. I remember there was a story of certain doctors being highly sought out because they would cut the clit. I think they do it to discourage women from having sex by denying them please, or something to that effect.

And honestly, I think I should leave it to a professional. I don't really think my hand is steady enough. I know the whole issue is about cleanliness but I'm pretty sure that no matter how well I wash my hands, what I learned from the youtube tutorial still might not qualify for the task. I still click the thumbs up on the video. Youtube is great. You can learn anything on there nowadays.

Anyway, anybody else on the fence about the issue? Is one better than the other? I don't plan on having kids just yet but the topic came up so I figured I'd ask and see if anyone has a real perspective on cutting dikks.

I developed issues growing up
As an adult I still had those issues but didn't know it wasn't normal
It's not like I walked around looking at dikks or asking people about it
None of the girls I was with ever said anything either

A few years ago I went to a urologist for something unrelated. I told them the issue and was told I needed to get circumcised. I was hesitant and it took a couple of years to convince myself but I finally did it a few months ago.

I'm still in the healing process but the results have been pretty good. Sex is no longer painful. I could do positions I wasn't able to before. Before it was rare that I came from sex and now it's easier.

The only down side is that I don't know how to masturbate. It feels awkward and uncomfortable. I probably do it 1/10 as much as before because it just doesn't feel right

With all that said, I have 2 sons
I didn't get either of them circumcised
And I prefer it that way
