Fat chick at my job is doing a 60 day juice diet :wow: and it made me think of this thread.

She's fat as fukk tho. Talmbout she could spare a cool 200lbs easily. We'll be ordering breakfast tacos and she'll order like 5 of em. Then after we place our order she'll tryta sneak off but you'll hear her on the phone with them talmbout, "I just placed and order and was curious to know if it's too early to order from the dinner menu too?" .....ho it's 8 am :sadcam:

There is a nikka I follow on instagram who is heavy into shakes and juices. I think it's the majority of his diet, but he's still a pretty husky nikka. I always wonder how he's a clue to keep that weight or not lose any with that low of an intake.

But I do know my boxing coach started following an alkaline diet and lost 90 pounds in four months
He ate fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, not just drink juice

Anyone who juices I would suggest preparing your body for it and slowly taking away solid food. The first time I did it, it was cool it helped I made my own juices and I like ate like 1 chip one day and a cracker another.

The second time I did cold turkey on solid foods, I got headaches and I was starving like never before. had to eat a salad in the middle.

So I won a ninja blender at work about a month ago. Have 2 2 bannana/peanut butter/blueberry/carrot/celery+1 scoop of whey and 1/2tbsp of L-arganine w/almond milk and ice twice a day, while eating pulled/grilled/boiled chicken (2 breasts) a day for lunch. I've come back to lifting weights and I gotta say about 10 days in I feel great. That juicing/smoothie shyt is nice, you just need some real food and supplements+vitamins with it.

Plus blueberry season has returned :blessed:

I don't juice, rather I blend my fruits and veggies. It's a great way to get in veggies like kale, spinach etc in large quantities.

Juicing and blending hit your system differently. Either way great way to get some good nutrients in. The OP had a lot of fruit in the juices. It's usually ok for newbs but eventually you want primarily veggies in your juice as you get more nutrients and less sugar (doesn't taste good which is why the newbs start with only fruit).

If you want to detox your system
Then follow a 72 hour fast
Fast for 72 hours, eat one meal, then fast another 72 hours, eat one meal, and continue the process
Only drink water

It's usually ok for newbs but eventually you want primarily veggies in your juice as you get more nutrients and less sugar (doesn't taste good which is why the newbs start with only fruit).
