Hes got springs not doubting that, just saying. And we both know that rim aint ten feet. Id love to see a pic like this in a regulation size court like in a college game or something. Just look at his AAU dunks and his Kansas dunks

Doug McDermott with a very impressive 36.5" max vert. #NBACombine

thats higher than Wade (35.0") and Blake Griffin (35.5")

them nikkas must be using the metric system for some dudes cause this shyt makes no sense.

I think you're retarded. The test is objective and standardized. The testers use measuring equipment and everything is the same from person to person. Griffin will generally not test higher tahn his 35.5 inches and McDermott will generally not test higher than 36 inches. This is measuring science, not hocus pocus. Like in football, some guys play above their athletic measurables and some play below those measurables in the field of play. Griffin may only jump 35.5 inches but he's a strong 6'10 and has mastered dunking.

lol @ dudes thinking Athletes are walking around at 3% body fat. Do you know how unhealthy that is? Being that low in body fat messes with your hormones. They would NOT be able to compete at 3% body fat.

For reference, this is Alberto Nunez one of the best Natural Pro Bodybuilders in the world. He gets peeled for shows at around 4% body fat and known for being one of the best at getting the leanest. Your typical athlete is not walking around more peeled than this (no homo warning):

Can y'all nikkas stop posting these fukkin bodybuilding pictures:what:

It's just like the 40, dudes are specifically training to do this shyt...a lot of dudes are running times they'll never re-create on the field

Yeah they have to make sure everything is perfect, and train specifically for it, and then can't recreate that time consistently. Take someone like Desean Jackson however, doesn't need to do all that shyt because he's legitimately that fast naturally and can consistently run a 4.3

There is a difference between combine athleticism and functional, in-game athleticism.

Yep Nick young has a crazy vert, but he's not explosive enough to dunk on ppl like he should with that vert, I dont really understand these test, McDermott may have a 36.5 inch vert, but who is he gonna dunk on?:manny:

The test is the test. There are some people who score high SATs and end up undistinguished business consultants and then there are those who score high SATs and become world renowned scientists. There are complexities to testing and performance as relates to individuals. Sometimes tests don't have much correlation to what they say they do and sometimes tests don't test what they claim to test so far as that relates to performance.

yeah he looks between 7-8% to me too...in a sport like football, being 5% body fat would likely hinder your performance....its not easy to keep your body fat that low.....4-5% are body fat percentages of Olympic endurance runners..and doctors recommend those levels as the lowest

Not 7-8% either, more like 10-12%, 7-8% you would be able to see crazy striations and all that type of stuff, basketball players dont walk around that lean yall:ufdup:

Watkins' ability to climb the ladder and dunk is undisputed. Some players train harder and get better results from vertical training, which can muddy results in comparison to players who don't train as hard. Wiggins' true reach and dunking ability is great. He'll do fine.
